The Catbox

Being a proud dad of 9 cats, and tired of the ugliness of those scratching posts and towers, designing my own scratch box becomes then a necessity. I started by sketching some ideas until I came up with this mid-century-ish design, then I moved to my workshop cutting and assembling each piece, then sanding and finishing. The final product is pretty versatile, as it can be used as a hangout for your cats, a mini bookshelf, as a double or single plant stand or to store your records. As the Vignellis say “If you don’t find it, design it”.
